Heyam - the name of my mother, to whom I also dedicate my brand. She is my biggest role model, my motivation and inspiration. Not only did she raise my sister and me alone, but she also showed me that you can be independent as a woman and achieve anything you set your mind to.

When we fled from Iraq to Germany in 1999, all alone with my mother at the age of 4 and 6 years, my mother had to start a new life without any support and with great responsibility. She worked around the clock, did the household and was also a caring mother. Despite the language barrier, she also completed a successful training as a tailor, which makes me incredibly proud.

My mother taught us to always work hard and be diligent. She also taught us to do everything with a clear conscience and to be fair at all times. A quality that is very rare nowadays. She is a very down-to-earth and patient woman, without whom I would never have made it.

For this reason, I dedicate Heyam Jewelry to her - but not only to my strong mother, but also to all the other strong women out there who give their best every day and are selfless at the same time.
